Who we are
HolidayEntitlementCalculator.co.uk is a free online tool providing informational calculators and guides based on publicly available UK government guidance. We are not a law firm and the site does not provide legal advice.
What data we collect
This site is designed to minimise data collection. We collect:
- Contact form submissions — if you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. This data is used only to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (anonymised, aggregated data). This does not identify individual users.
- Calculator inputs — any values you enter into the calculator are processed in your browser only and are not stored or transmitted to any server.
We do not use cookies. We do not store personal data on our servers. We do not share your data with advertisers or third-party data brokers.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This service collects anonymised data such as pages visited, time on page, and general geographic location (country level only). We have configured Google Analytics to anonymise IP addresses and have disabled data sharing with Google products.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Contact form data
When you submit our contact form, your message is sent to our email address and stored only for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. We do not retain contact form submissions beyond the period needed to respond, and we do not share them with any third parties.
Our contact form includes anti-spam measures including a honeypot field and rate limiting. Your IP address is recorded temporarily for rate-limiting purposes only and is not used for any other purpose.
